Restorative Yoga Training

Service Description

Learn more about teaching and practicing restorative yoga. Continuing education credit is available for current yoga teachers. This workshop is open to student and yoga/wellness instructors who are interested in learning more about offering restorative yoga practices to their students or for themselves. Through this workshop, you will learn how to use various restorative postures to improve digestion, respiration, and balance within the nervous system. By the end of this program, you’ll be able to teach specific pranayama to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, set up and teach many restorative yoga postures with all essential props to provide maximum support, and understand the impact of each restorative posture on various organs and spinal structures. This workshop offers 4 hours of continuing education credit with Yoga Alliance.
